Legal Reasoning Is Not Lawyering: Rethinking Legal Benchmarks for Pro Se Access to Justice
ICML AI4Law Workshop · Jun 2026
My research asks how AI changes access to expertise and the institutions that produce and apply it. I am also especially interested in the science of AI evaluation and AI's impact on the law.
Previously, I've worked with Legora on its U.S. evaluations team and was a summer associate at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz.
I am a J.D. student at Yale Law School, where I work with Professor Daniel Markovits and Professor Daron Acemoglu. I hold an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. in Finance and Statistics from the Wharton School, summa cum laude.
